What is Blossom?

Blossom is a co-created experience to deepen the connection with yourself, each other & nature. This 2024 Autumn Harvest edition takes place at Bergakungen in Osby. Here, participants collectively shape the week through shared experiences, communal meals, co-created workshops, and collaborative activities, building on the foundation laid by Ekskäret the past 4 years in Stockholm.

Blossom is designed to create an open, brave, and inclusive space. It's an opportunity to unwind, connect with nature, and gain fresh perspectives on life. We aim to foster personal and collective growth, contributing to the elevation of both individual and communal well-being which echoes and supports the world around us.

Blossom invites you to relax, connect, and be present within the serene embrace of the surrounding nature. In this state, we open ourselves to new ideas and perspectives, allowing transformation to unfold. We aspire to shift and harvest the way we relate to ourselves, each other, and the world.

Experience a harmonious balance between the individual and the collective during Blossom. Weekdays are dedicated to personal exploration—whether independent coworking or vacation, while evenings and weekends provide a canvas for shared activities and meaningful connections.

Join us and let the concept of Blossom bloom and flourish through you, and together create memories that will endure and grow with each passing season.

The Blossom values

In order to create this open, brave, and inclusive space, there are a few values at the very core of this experience, which serve as a compass for how we wish to come together.

Co-creation - “We are all hosts” - At this event, you are not a consumer. We expect everyone to be an active co-creator of the event and contribute in your own way. You are an essential part of creating the experience for yourself and for everybody else.

Self-reliance - “Only you know your needs” - You are responsible to be aware of, honor, and take care of your own needs. This may mean asking for help when you need it, resting when needed, saying yes or saying no. Only you will know.

Inclusion - “Everyone is welcome” - You will not know everyone there, but you are expected to meet and welcome everyone with kindness. We help each other feel part of the bigger group by inviting and including each other.

Responsibility - “Leave a better trace” - means not only to clean up after yourself, but is also a mindset of always considering how you can leave things/places/situations/people better than how you found them, for the good of the whole. Here you are a caretaker of both the island and the group.

Blossom Harvest is a non-profit and independent event co-created by the attending participants. There are no producers and consumers; the membership fees are solely based on the cost of running the event.

All you need to know

Blossom is a week of workshops, co-creating, coworking, and coliving where everyone is part of dreaming up, creating, and hosting the experience.

The week is spent at Bergakungen (Ebbarp 3625, 283 91 Osby) - a beautiful, secluded private land in the forests in the north of Skåne with modern and well-equipped facilities, optimized for retreats and gatherings. There is a limited number of spots; we will be a magic group of maximum 40 people. You will have your own bed in a shared room with one other participant. This is a completely sober event.

Tuesday (Oct 1st): Arrive at the beautiful venue and get familiar with the community and the land.

Wednesday-Sunday (Oct 2nd - Oct 6th): Co-working during the days, where we work individually on our own work or projects (or just chill around in the forest if we prefer). Shared meals twice a day, cooked collectively in food teams, and co-created activities in the evenings. There may also be some workshops during the days; it is up to you to choose what you create, attend and prioritize depending on your time and energy.

The theme for this autumn edition of Blossom is "Harvest." We invite you to reflect a bit extra on what this means to you. What have you cultivated and grown within yourself this year? What fruits of your labor are you ready to gather and share? Autumn brings a time of completion and thankfulness. It's a season to enjoy the results of our hard work. As the leaves turn gold and the air grows cool, we celebrate the good things that have grown in our lives, much like a farmer gathers crops. Autumn is a time when nature shares its gifts, reminding us to reflect on our achievements and growth, and prepares for the slowing down and savoring of the upcoming winter. Each fruit and seed we collect shows how far we've come and celebrates our strength and perseverance.
